This salve is useful for the relief and healing of poison ivy exposure. Jewelweed is nature's antidote against poison ivy. Blue chamomile essential oil helps reduce inflammation. It is also effective against poison oak and stinging nettle irritation.

How to Identify Poison Ivy

Leaves of three, let them be!

Proper identification of poison ivy is very important! Here are some characteristics to look for:

Leaves grouped in three, are glossy and oval shaped, flowers and berries are white. This plant can take the form of a trailing/climbing vine or as an erect scrub.

If exposed: wash area with cold water and soap. You should avoid hot water, it will cause the irritating oil (urushiol) to spread. After washing, follow-up with Poison Ivy Relief Salve to stop the itching and pain.
